Recycle
Recycling is one of the easiest ways to stay green. From putting paper into a recycling bin to changing old T-Shirts into a purse, there are endless possibilities! A cool idea is to take an old pair of pants and cut out both of the pockets and sew them together. After a handle is put on you have a handy little pouch! Then take part of the leg and cut a portion straight across off. Turn it inside out and sew the bottom. The turn it right side out and decorate it. add a zipper on top and some glitter n stuff and you got yourself a neat pencil pouch. How's that for recycling? Stay green!

Pine Sap Glue ~*~UPDATE~*~
Well, I tried making pine sap glue by taking pine sap and salt, pine sap and flour, pine sap and glue, and just regular pine sap. None of them held the paper together. Not even pine sap and glue. It should be possible to make a glue someday but keep experimenting with homemade ones! Stay green!

Pine Sap
Do you ever think that pine sap could ever be used to make a glue? I think so, that's why I'm going to take pine sap and experiment with it to make glue. Once I finish, I'll post how you can make glue, too!!! Stay green!

Six little ways how you can make a difference.
- Get involved: Volenteer for organizations or even just do you own thing by picking up litter and trash around your neighborhood.
- Recycle: Paper and plastic are just some of the things you can recycle to make a difference.
- Reuse old clothes: When you no longer fit into old clothing fix it up into something else, give it to a younger sibling, or even donate it. You can find a lot of gently used clothing items at thrift stores instead of buying them directly at the name-brand store.
- Sick of your shoes?: Donate your old shoes to charity. Check out www.nikereuseashoe.com for Nike's Reuse-a-Shoe program.
- Wrapping presents: When you wrap your presents, use the comics section of the newspaper or some cool pages from catalogs or magazines. And people always appriciate homemade stuff so try making your own!
- Notes: When passing notes in class or even writting notes to mom at home, use the back of old paper instead of a new sheet. A good idea for while passing notes in class is to use the back of old worksheets you won't need anymore.
How's that for green?

earth-is-GREeN
earth-is-GREeN is a new blog that shows ways you can help the planet. Earth is green, so lets keep it that way! Let's start off with some of the easiest things to do: Just shut off lights when not in use and water. This saves energy and water. Replace normal bulbs with energy efficient bulbs. They may be more expensive but they are brighter and save energy. Also, when testing to see if water is cold enough or hot enough for something only let a small amount out of the faucet instead of turning it on all the way. Keep it green!
